UKS2 – Remembrance WCR: Once and The Emergency Zoo
Remembrance is a hugely important part of the year and whole-class reading provides a perfect opportunity to bring discussions into the classroom.
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at extracts from three excellent books – Once, The Emergency Zoo and The Machine Gunners!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Three additional writing challenges are included!
