LKS2 – Environment-themed WCR: Nen and the Lonely Fisherman and Non-Fiction

Build on COP26 and bring the topic of environment into your classroom during whole-class reading!

This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at the picture book Nen and the Lonely Fisherman and then two pieces of non-fiction – Plastic Sucks and Climate Action.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
