KS1 Olympics Planning

This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around the Olympics, ready for use as we build up to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games!

There are three days of work featuring extracts from The Frog Olympics and The Hundred-Mile-an-Hour Dog Goes For Gold, plus a look at a BBC Bitesize article.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
