Black History Month 2023 is themed around ‘Saluting Our Sisters’ and this comprehension activity uses a brilliant BBC Teach video to explore the life and achievements of Betty Campbell, who was the first Black headteacher in Wales!
There are 10 questions plus an extension which test a range of KS1 national curriculum reading skills. All answers are provided.
